Fire Leads Police To Discover 1800 Cannabis Plants At A Property In Rochdale
Greater Manchester Police seized 1800 cannabis plants with a street value of £1.8 million after responding to reports of a fire at a property in Rochdale.

Greater Manchester Police along with the fire brigade responded to reports of a fire on Harbour Lane, Milnrow, Rochdale, at around 2.30pm on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that the fire had been caused by a huge cannabis farm that was illegally bypassing electricity connections.
According to police they seized and destroyed 1800 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £1.8 million.
An investigation has been launched into who was behind the farm, however, no arrests have been made and police are appealing to anyone who may have information to get in touch with them.
