British Pensioner Paraded By Police After Being Arrested In Drugs Raid

A British pensioner has been arrested after reportedly being caught with a large amount of drugs in Goa following a police raid. Authorities released a photograph showing the suspect with a black hood over his head.

The British man, 76-year-old Stephen Slotwiner, was found to be in possession of various drugs at his rented property in a village in Goa, according to authorities.


Police say they found 512 grams of cannabis, 80 grams of MDMA, 40 ecstasy tablets, and a quantity of LSD at the property Slotwiner rented.



If convicted under India's Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Act, the pensioner could be looking at up to six months in prison.


Authorities released the photo showing Slotwiner surrounded by 11 officers while having his head covered with a black hood.


The raids were carried out after police received a tip-off about a large quantity of drugs being at the premises.
