Police are currently investigating 13 separate crime scenes as the stabbings happened at multiple locations, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed.

Authorities are currently hunting two suspects, Myles Sanderson and Damien Sanderson, who they believe are travelling in a black Nissan Rogue.

Police said that it appears that some of the victims were targeted while others were attacked at random, authorities say there is likely to be additional injured victims who transported themselves to different hospitals.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority said patients were being treated at several locations.

A spokesperson for the Ambulance service, Mark Oddan, said that two helicopters were dispatched from nearby Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and another from Regina.

While the suspects are still on the loose, police warned the public to take "appropriate precautions." "Do not leave a secure location. Use caution allowing others into your residence. Do not approach suspicious persons. Do not pick up hitch-hikers," police said.
