Police have arrested a man and launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman and her two young children in Kettering.

Police officers were called to an incident at Petherton Court in Kettering, North Northamptonshire, at around 11.15am today. Paramedics rushed to the incident, but tragically a woman was pronounced dead at the scene and two children, aged four and six, died later in hospital.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently being held in Northamptonshire Police custody.
Authorities confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
Police promised to do all they can to bring justice to the deceased mother and her children, describing the situation as a "desperately sad incident".
Over the next few days, post-mortem examinations will take place to confirm the cause of death of the victims.
Police, paramedics, and two air ambulances were on the scene. The suspect was arrested at around 1.30pm after part of Rockingham Road, which runs next to Petherton Court, was closed to traffic.
Specialist officers have been searching the flat throughout the day and a Vauxhall Zafira that was parked outside was removed on a lorry by police.
Superintendent Steve Freeman said: "There are no words to describe how upsetting this incident is but I want to reassure the public that we have a team of detectives working on the case, absolutely determined to get justice for this woman and the two children.
"The man we have arrested is currently being questioned by detectives in custody however anyone with any information is encouraged to contact us."
