Man Arrested For Calling Prince Andrew "Sick Old Man" As He Walked Behind Queen's Coffin

A man has been arrested after heckling Prince Andrew as he walked behind the Queen's coffin as it passed through Edinburgh's Royal Mile.

A 22-year-old man was arrested after shouting "Andrew, you're a sick old man" as the coffin passed with the Queen's children, including King Charles, walking behind.


The man was removed from the crowd and arrested by police.


Police Scotland said: "A 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with a breach of the peace on the Royal Mile at around 2.50pm today."



The below video, which was published on Twitter shows the man being dragged to the floor by a police officer and being shoved by several members of the public.


As police led the man away, he shouts "disgusting".

This incident comes after a woman was arrested on Sunday and charged with breaching the peace when she appeared with an anti-monarchy sign outside St Giles' Cathedral during Sunday's Accession Proclamation for the King in Edinburgh.


Police said that a 74-year-old man was also arrested and charged with breaching the peace on Sunday.
