A man tried to drag a teenage girl who was walking home from college into his car after driving past her several times in Farnborough. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information they may have.
Police described how the girl had been walking alone on Alexandra Road, between Boundary Road and Reading Road, when a vehicle drove past her multiple times within 10 minutes.
Between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, a man got out of the vehicle and grabbed the girl by her arm, and attempted to drag her towards his car. Police said that the teenager managed to break-free and run away from the man before getting into another vehicle and being driven away.
The suspect is described as being white, in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5ft 10in tall, with light brown hair slicked to the right-hand side. The attacker was said to be wearing grey jogging bottoms and a grey sweatshirt at the time of the attempted abduction.
A police spokesperson said: "We have conducted initial enquiries in the local area but are now turning to the public. Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness what happened? "Perhaps you have dash-cam footage in the moments leading up to or during the incident? "Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 and quoting 44220368346"
