Marina Yankina: Another Top Russian Official Dies After Falling Out Of Window
Another high-ranking Russian official and ally of President Vladimir Putin has been found dead after allegedly falling 160ft from a high-rise apartment block in St Petersburg.

58-year-old Marina Yankina, the head of finance and procurement of the Russian Defense Ministry's Western Military District, was found dead by police at the bottom of a tower block in the Kalininsky district.
Russian media outlets reported that personal belongings of Yankina's were found on the 16th-floor balcony of the building.
Her death came a year after she demanded on-air apologies from anyone who suggested that Russia would invade Ukraine while accusing Washington and London of playing a "scary, strange, wild" political game.
Anton Gerashchenko, an advisor to Ukraine's minister of internal affairs, took to Twitter to comment on the news of Yankina's death.
He said: "Marina Yankina, head of the financial department at the Russian ministry of defense, was found dead. She fell out of a window. "Her death is not the first among Russia's high-ranking officials in the past year."
Marina Yankina's death comes just days after Major General Vladimir Makarov, who was recently fired by Vladimir Putin, was found dead in an alleged suicide outside of Moscow.
The body of Makarov was found on a property in the village of Golikovo. A Berkut-2M carbine was found next to his corpse.
On November 16, Colonel Vadim Boiko, 44, deputy head of the Makarov Pacific Higher Naval School in Vladivostok, Russia, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
