A cargo plane ended up with its front end in a lake after overshooting the runway, resulting in the Montpellier Airport in France being closed "indefinitely".
The Boeing 737 overshot the runway at Montpellier Airport just before 3am local time on Saturday. The West Atlantic flight stopped as its front end got submerged in a lake.
Sixty firefighters were dispatched to the scene. Luckily all three people on board were rescued unharmed from the jet containing air freight.
Authorities confirmed that the airport is now closed to all flights until the plane has been removed.
An investigation has been launched into how the incident occurred.
