School Issue Warning To Parents As Two Men Attempted To Abduct Children Outside Primary School

Two men have reportedly attempted to abduct two young girls of primary school age from outside the Woodfield Primary School in Doncaster, England.

A school in Doncaster, England, has issued an urgent warning to parents after two men allegedly attempted to abduct two young girls from outside a primary school.


According to local reports, one man has been arrested following the frightening incident that took place on Tuesday, police have not yet confirmed the arrest.



Another man is believed to have fled the scene - parents of children at the school have been told to be "extra vigilant" over the coming days.


Woodfield Primary School sent out an email to parents that said: "You may already be aware due to reports on social media but we have been informed this morning that yesterday evening two men attempted to snatch two children of primary school age from Weston Road.


"One was caught and arrested and the other got away. Thankfully both girls are safe.


"Please be extra vigilant and ensure you report anything untoward to the police direct. "We strongly recommend that all children are collected from school by an adult over the age of 18."



South Yorkshire Police said in a statement: "Police are aware of reports circulating online regarding suspicious behaviour in Weston Road, Balby. "No reports have currently been made to police - we would encourage anyone with concerns to report them to us so we can investigate.
