Three people have been killed as a Russian light aircraft crashed in the Komi Republic on Monday, local media reports.
The plane crash that left three people dead happened in Russia's Komi Republic, in close proximity to the airfield in the village of Dalny. It has been reported that the aircraft failed to reach the landing strip by 400 metres.
According to local media, the Cessna plane belonged to the aviation forest service. Following the crash the plane is said to have caught fire while emergency services rushed to the scene.

The identity of those killed in the crash has not yet been released, the incident reportedly took place on Monday, 8, August.
The Komi Republic is a federal subject of Russia in Eastern Europe. Its capital is the city of Syktyvkar.
