Totton Woman, 23, Seriously Injured After Being Hit By Pallet Of Bricks Falling From Lorry
A 23-year-old woman from Totton, Hampshire, has been left seriously injured after being struck by a pallet of bricks while walking that fell from the side of a lorry.

The woman was walking in Lyndhurst in Hampshire New Forest yesterday when she was struck by the pallet that fell from the side of the lorry.
A police investigation has now been launched to ascertain how the pallet became "dislodged".
The incident took place on the A35 at around 12pm. Paramedics along with an air ambulance helicopter were dispatched to the scene.
Pictures taken just after the event show a pile of masonry on the pavement, from the photographs it looks as though the pallet was full of breeze blocks.
The 23-year-old victim was treated at the roadside by paramedics before being rushed to hospital in Southampton.
Hampshire Police said in a statement: "The circumstances reported to police are that pallets of bricks have become dislodged from a lorry and struck a pedestrian, who has suffered serious injuries.
"A 23-year-old woman from Totton has been taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
"Enquiries into the exact circumstances remain ongoing."
